I have loved Paint horses ever since I owned a beautiful gelding named Sonny (sired by Bear’s Bonanza) that was a half brother to this little mare. “Finny” as she is known, A.P.H.A. registered foundation tri-colour Tob-Overo mare, has produced some beautiful colored and solid breeding stock Paint horses for our farm, the one daughter of which we kept, Lilleoett, mentioned in this website.
Gender: Mare
-
Milka
This lovely 16 hh mare has produced a couple of foals, but the one that is doing extremely well at present is Darlington (by Diamant, aka Star Struck) in the hunter division. Milka is a more refined mare with a beautiful temperament. She passes along her body type and easy going movement and personality to all her foals. The one that is for sale at present is her 2018 colt, Don’t Mind Me (name pending C.S.H.A. registration).
-
Magnitude
Since “Maggie” looks like the “old style Hanoverian”, she was not promoted in the show ring nor was she bred much. Her one foal, a gelding named Magna (aka Donovan) was born in 2009. He is owned by Rachel Baresich and enjoys competing in dressage and hunter/jumper classes on the Trillium Circuit. He has the refinement of the Thoroughbred but gets his bone and wonderful temperament from his dam.
-
Lonessa
This registered Canadian Trakehner mare makes a good companion for other horses, as she never was able to produce foals. She heralds back to Donauwind through her sire, Target, half brother to Abdullah, the Olympic jumper that won the Gold Medal for the U.S.A. in the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles.

Lilleoett
Lilleoett is a registered A.P.H.A. Solid Breeding Stock Paint mare and a half Thoroughbred out of Finny. my A.P.H.A. registered tri-colour Tob-Overo mare. Some day I hope to breed Lilleoett as she has Northern Dancer and Deputy Minister on her Thoroughbred side.

Bonny
This broodmare, when purchased by Affluent Farms, had already produced six foals for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and her career ended by producing another seven foals for Vicki and Mark. She was 75% Thoroughbred and 25% Clydesdale so when the R.C.M.P. introduced Warmblood stallions such as Ginsberg, mares like Bonny were sold. Of those foals, three were cherished fillies which formed the broodmare herd to produce more Canadian Sport Horses for Affluent Farms. The colts (Mime by Mattgold), Dilemma (by Diamant), and Rigaletto (2003 Lieutenant Governor Cup class winner by Reipo) were sold but Vicki still owns Dash (by Diamant) to enjoy riding at her leisure.
Bonny’s Offspring
All Bonny’s colts were sold when Vicki and Mark first began breeding Canadian Sport Horses so that they could begin to build up a herd of broodmares. Bonny had produced six foals for the RCMP and seven for Affluent Farms. The colts were: Mime (1997), Dilemma (1998), Rigaletto (2000) and Dash (2004). All but Mime were shown at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair and all were in the top ten. Rigaletto, (sired by Reipo) placed 3rd in the Governor General’s Cup but won the Lieutenant Governor’s Cup class in 2003 under Sue Fish. Dilemma and Dash, were full brothers sired by Diamant, owned by Charlot Farms of Stratford where Vicki bought her first Canadian Sport Horse named Desirée II.

Art Deco was a beautiful 16.1 hh black and white Tobiano Pinto Dutch Warmblood stallion in the United States that sired this gorgeous mare, Beyond A Doubt (BAD for short). Beyond A Doubt is Bonny’s last and seventh foal to be produced for Affluent Farms.

A Lil’ Tude
This mare was bred by the R.C.M.P. as Bonny, Tude’s dam, was in foal with this mare at the time of her purchase. “Tude” has produced a number of foals but we kept her daughter, Magnitude (by Mattgold) to continue our herd. Gratitude (by Gauguin de Lully), Tude’s last foal, is listed for sale on this site.
